1. Overview
Work Certs is an application developed and operated by Lunar Digital, a company registered in Alberta, Canada. References to "we," "us," or "our" in this policy refer to Lunar Digital.
Work Certs is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it is handled.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
All certificate data you enter into Work Certs is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. This includes: certificate names, expiry dates, issuing organizations, images, and reminders. This data is never transmitted to our servers and is never accessible to Lunar Digital.
Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all locally stored data.
3. Subscription & Purchase Data
Work Certs uses RevenueCat to process in-app purchases and manage subscription status. When you make a purchase, RevenueCat receives transaction data from the App Store or Google Play on our behalf, including your subscription status and purchase history. This data is handled in accordance with RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Lunar Digital does not store your payment information.
4. Support Requests
If you contact us through the Help & Support screen, your message is composed on your device and sent via your personal email client to support@workcerts.app. We do not operate a server that intercepts or stores this data in transit.
If you choose to include device information with your support request, the following is appended to your message:
- App version
- Device model
- Operating system and version
This option is opt-in and clearly labelled before submission. We use this information solely to diagnose and resolve your issue. Support correspondence is retained only as long as necessary to resolve your request.
5. Data We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Names, email addresses, or any account information
- Location data
- Behavioural or usage analytics
- Advertising identifiers
- Any certificate data stored in the app
6. Third-Party Services
The only third-party service currently integrated into Work Certs is RevenueCat. See Section 3 for details.
7. Children's Privacy
Work Certs is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of information we hold about you.
Since we hold no personal data beyond support correspondence, most requests can be fulfilled by simply contacting support, or by requesting we delete any prior correspondence.

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves — for example, when new features are added that affect data handling. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
