1. Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Work Certs ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Work Certs is developed and operated by Lunar Digital, a company registered in Alberta, Canada. References to "we," "us," or "our" refer to Lunar Digital.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Work Certs. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
3. License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Work Certs on your personal device for personal or professional purposes, in accordance with these Terms.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or its content
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
4. Subscriptions and Purchases
Work Certs offers the following purchase options:
- Monthly Subscription — billed monthly, renews automatically
- Annual Subscription — billed annually, renews automatically
- Lifetime Purchase — a one-time payment granting access to premium features for the lifetime of the App (see Section 5)
All purchases are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies:
Refund requests must be submitted directly through the platform where the purchase was made. Lunar Digital Inc. does not process refunds directly.
5. Lifetime Purchase
The Lifetime Purchase grants access to all current premium features for as long as Work Certs remains an active, published application. "Lifetime" refers to the operational lifetime of the App, not the purchaser's lifetime.
We reserve the right to discontinue Work Certs at any time. In the event of discontinuation, no refund obligations arise beyond what is required by applicable law or the platform through which the purchase was made.
6. Free Tier Limitations
The free tier of Work Certs is subject to the following limitations:
- Maximum of 3 certificates
- 1 reminder per certificate
- Preset reminder intervals only
These limitations are subject to change. We will provide reasonable notice of any changes that affect existing free tier users.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding within Work Certs — including the Work Certs name and Lunar Digital name and marks — are the property of Lunar Digital and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your certificate data remains your own. We claim no ownership over content you enter into the App.
8. Disclaimers
Work Certs is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities.
Work Certs is a personal productivity tool. It is not a substitute for official record-keeping systems maintained by licensing bodies or employers. You are solely responsible for ensuring your certifications remain valid and compliant with any applicable regulatory requirements.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lunar Digital shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use Work Certs, including but not limited to missed certification renewals or lapses in professional standing.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Alberta.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
